1988 240 fuel pump relay

Hello to all, I am new to the world of Volvo and am having fuel pump relay issues, at least that is what is next on my list. There is a buzzing when the key is on and I have tried everything else as I have come across it. I am attempting to, temporarily install a jumper wire in the fuse box between #4 and #6 so I can get the car to the shop and purchase the new relay. I am hoping that will fix it, just to get it to where I need to go. I am just trying to find out which side of the fuse panel is positive and which is negative? Thank you for any help or advice you could give.
