Hi everybody,
Unfortunately, yesterday someone damaged my lovely volvo when it was in a parking lot. Of course no number no nothing. It could be worse, I do consider myself lucky in that sense. By the way as you know the hood is not that low and I am wondering how he/she could made this damage. Maybe a bicycle carrier? who knows.
Anyhow the body is fine but as you will see from the photos, there are paint cracks. are there any other solutions than paint job? I am going to clean the blue color damage with paste would that make any further damage? Or would you think it will be worse and chipped during time?
Thanks for your help.
Best
Ray

Is this on the hood? Carefully clean the paint perhaps with some good clay bar and try a few layers of scratch remover, then a good wax. The scratch remover will also work on the cracked place not sure how well but worth a try.

Thanks Oragex.
Yes, it is on the hood. Honestly until you mentioned I didn't have any idea about claybar, it might or might not be solution in this case but it looks like it has nice effect on the body.
