What do i need?

Hi, i'm a bit curious what i need to do achieve the following:
- Diganose Problems
- Configure my Car to autolock the doors after a few meters driving
- eventually have the ability to update the cars software.

I have a 2001 V70 with the 2.0T engine.

would the Vida VMware-Image from this forum be the right thing?
And i own a Bluetooth ODB2 Connector wich works with the tourque app on my Android, can i use this?

I'm not sure about the auto lock feature but VIDA can perform the diagnostics in conjunction with a DICE unit. The VMware image will work fine up to the point where you want to do software downloads. None of the bootleg VIDA programs, which the VMware image is as is any other program that you will receive along with a DICE clone, will do the software download through the Volvo servers. The only interface that will work is the DICE, the bluetooth OBD-II interface won't do it.

For the software download capability you need to buy a VIDA subscription which is $718.54 / month - more than the dealer cost to do about any software download.
