92 volvo 740 Turbo Wagon Speedometer Odometer

Just got my wagon back from the shop and I am wanting to see if anyone out here knows where I might be able to find a used speedometer/odometer for my 92 Volvo 740 Turbo Wagon.

The Speedo and odometer work intermittently and I had them sent in to a shop that re-builds them and they said that because of a capacitor that leaked on the circuit board it was not able to be repaired because of corrosion.

Any leads would be most helpful. I have been keeping my eye out on eBay, but haven't had any luck yet.

there was a 1992 Volvo 940 Turbo at the LKQ Pick Your Part in Fort Wayne back on 4-3-2015. If Fort Wayne is too far or the car is gone you could check www.car-part.com

I know of a 91 740 turbo in one of my local yards. It still had the instrument cluster. Would need to check this week to see if its still there. It was a lower mileage car so more then likely cluster was still good. I checked and a 91 is compatible with a 92.

The speedometer on my '92 940 also failed, so I purchased a 1994 instrument cluster on car-part.com. I had to modify the fuel gauge connections (there's a great writeup on the web), and now I have a fully working set of instruments. And my 18 year old now knows when he is exceeding the speed limit!
