Reduced engine performance 2008 XC90

Reduced engine performance 2008 XC90

Are volvos after the 199-2002 models still having trouble with reduced engine performance and going into limp home mode? My 2008 XC90 has done it twice and once on the interstate going 70mph. I limped to the berm and prayed a semi didn't hit me. Now the check engine light has gone off and my auto shop cannot see any codes for trouble.

I need help. Thanks for any suggestions.
