2007 S60 maintenance

I read on MVS site some time ago:
"These cars really do need retorquing of the suspension and the subframe every so often" -- can someone explain what this is? I do not see it on the Warranty schedule that came with the car. It is front-wheel drive only, if this makes a difference. Thanks in advance!

Can't answer your question, but speaking about maintenance I would advise having the transmission fluid replaced (using the proper specification fluid) even if not mentioned in the maintenance schedule.

I dont recall reading this but if it isn't validated by one of the experts here, I would ignore this recollection. It has the stench of an internet rumor....
