Hi,
I'm still loosing a small amount of coolant somewhere & recently noticed checking in the morning when the car was parked over night that there still was some pressure in the reservoir.
Radiator & reservoir are recent, when I started noticing a coolant loss again, I had traces on top of the reservoir & replaced the cap, no traces on reservoir anymore but still loosing some, o-rings on heater core are recent & no moisture in foot well, coolant & oil are clean.
Anybody got an idea? What part of the turbo exactly is water cooled, can there be internal leaks with a hot cooling system bleeding into intake or exhaust & charge air under full throttle pressurising the cooling system?
Funny thing, the big Volvo has the same problem, but that's likely the EGR cooler leaking internally as it started right after that got an ultrasound cleaning.
Thanks, Ben

Drop the gravel guard under the radiator and have a look up there. Its very easy to have a leak in the radiator area that never makes it to ground - it evaporates before it leaves its tell-tale mark

Thanks for your response abscate, I've had the splash guard off recently & didn't find any traces of coolant in engine bay nor on the splash guard itself.
What puzzles me is the pressure in the cold reservoir, has anyone else here had reservoir pressure on a cold engine? Are there any other possible points on these cars to get the cooling system pressurised besides the head-gasket?

It does sound like the res. cap even though you've replaced it. There should be no pressure w/engine cold.
