I recently had to change my rear o2 sensor due to the codes which showed misfiring in all cylinders. This issue was further complicated by the yellow transmission arrow started flashing and the speedometer would fluctuate or not worked at all.
The issue related to the yellow light continues and seems tone getting worse as the car sometimes does not shift into second gear. Could the acceleration sensor be playing a role in this issue?

Your problems are classic for a bad ABS module except that is only an issue for the 1996+ cars in North America. The European versions of the cars, however, tended to be a model year ahead of North America and I am honestly not sure what the setup is on a car in Trinidad. My guess is that you got the European versions there rather than the US/Canada version.
The upshot is that there is a speed sensor problem. On the later model cars that speed signal is generated by the ABS module but on the earlier cars it has a speed sensor on the transmission itself which is mounted low on the transaxle, near where the right hand axle goes into the transmission.
The speed sensor is not particularly failure prone but the wiring to it can the connector can be a problem. It is also in the general area of the oxygen sensor so something may have happened when the sensor was changed.
Snap a picture of your ABS setup and post it back, from the picture we can tell if it is an early or late version.
You should also have the underhood A and B DTC boxes. Read the codes from Port A-1 and post them back as well. Port A-1 reads the errors from the transmission.

That is indeed the early style ABS and they don't have all of the problems that the later versions have. The speed sensor on your car is indeed on the transaxle as I described above.
Without codes the best I can do is guess and, were I in your situation, I would focus on the speed sensor and its connector and wiring.

It was in fact the rpm sensor. However, I noticed that the gears were not shifting as smoothly asvut usually does. Thanks again for the advice
