Another Wagon purchase.

Post by Ben850 »

I am paying for another Wagon tonight. A '94 black, roof racks and black leather loaded.
$300.
Hoarding I would imagine.
Is this normal for us, we?
Photos, to come.

Also, Titans on the '96 Wagon last week.

I reckon it could be kinda normal as I now have three wagons, 98 V70 GLT (white), 96 960(5) (black), and a clean 98 V90 (white) work in progress that the previous owner neglected and let the timing belt break after a water pump leak. Just recently I was presented with an opportunity to acquire a 99 V70 GLT that the current owner can no longer afford to maintain properly. I am still thinking about it especially since it has less than 150k miles, like the 96 960 wagon that I bought last year.
1987 Volvo 245 DL 420k+ miles
1996 Volvo 965 143k+ miles
1998 Volvo V70 GLT 202k= miles

It is a recognised addiction, and very hard to break! I would have more but I was given the choice of living in the house or in the car if I bought another one. Had to think about it though!

I've owned over 25 Volvo's in the last 4 years. Wagon, sedans, newer and older. I just simply love Volvo's. Many people do understand the enthusiasm I have for these cars. As long as you have room and can afford to maintain them, it really shouldn't be an issue. I will probably never get married either. LOL

Don't think of it as being behind. You may have a more sane pace.
I am averaging one a year. It would be different if I were selling them.

It is not a person in their right mind is what I was thinking when I had started this thread.
