1994 volvo 850T Fuel Pump question

The 361 kit looks like it has all of the stuff you will need to install it but the filter looks quite a bit different than the OEM version. So long as it fits in the hole a the bottom of the tank it should be OK. As I recall the OEM version has the hole in the filter sock offset from center and it is actually close to one of the edges

I know nothing about the HFP brand though, this is the first time I have seen them so I can't say anything either good or bad about them.

I only use Deatschwerks fuel pump for all my cars. I can buy them directly from Deatschwerks (ensuring no fakes pump), 3 year no fault warranty, super quiet and they are at the same cost as Walbro, no brainier to me. I have a DW200 (flow more than Walbro hp 255) in my 850 turbo.

Fuel pump and fuel injectors is not where you want low quality parts.

I have not heard of Deatschwerks or HFP.

I am steering away from the no-name ones on eBay that are $15, $20, and $30 on the assumption that they might be low quality.

My fuel pump died at 145k miles. It starting buzzing quite noticeably weeks before it died. It also began sputtering just a few hours before quitting. The new pump is silent. So, if you can hear the pump at all, it's on it's way out.

I was able to buy a used one from Trius, a friend who is the Volvo savant of Southern California. If you are near N. Hollywood and need to repair and maintain an older Volvo, he is the man.
