OK, if you're at stock boost levels, then you need to start over.

- Read your DTCs - your trouble codes.
- Check fuel pressures
- Check hoses again - even if your hoses are good, check that they haven't slipped off anywhere
- Swap for known good TCV, or an HD
Etc, etc. but start by seeing if you've got any codes!

Hmm... Not sure. You're saying it can't hold the vacuum?

Hi Adam,

Back from Scotland and good to see Sommerfeldt has been taking care of you.

If you are running 16psi, the standard TCV is no good for that level. About 14psi and above it becomes erratic.

Sounds like you may have found a possible culprit as previously suggested. I you can't maintain a vacuum on the CBV, than chances are it has a hole or tear in it. If your car has a 16T turbo you can replace that without removing it. On the later larger 19T you have to remove the turbo to get one of the cover bolts out. Again, worth looking for a stronger spring for that. Check on IPD web-site.

So update
Tcv
Cbv
Leads
Coil
Filter
Plugs
Vacuum pipes
All replaced
And still losing power
If I accelerate hard it goes fast and then just cuts if pedal still down it goes again but then loses power

If you're still at stock boost levels, and haven't cranked it up again, I'd almost be willing to step out on a limb here and call your chip into question. That said, I've very limited experience with chipping, since I've never had it done to any of my bricks.

Someone more experienced with chips would have to chime in, but if your car's cutting out even though everything is new/checked/working, then that still means engine control issues, at least as far as I can see...

In the mean time, also check throttle control systems, just to make sure this isn't something mundane and mechanical, such as a throttle wire it something like that.

The car still doesn't throw any codes?
