2002 C70 Cabrio- 6 Disc CD Changer

Hi all

I have just go bought a 2002 C70 Cabriolet in amazing condition. Just really looked after.

Where would the 6 disk CD changer be. Boot or in the car? If I take out the radio I see that the CD changer cable is there. Where would this cable run to? I have looked and it seems there was never a CD changer but it seems the cable that runs to CD changer is there anyways.

I have a Volvo CD changer the I want to connect but dont want to pull the car apart if the cabling is all ready there.

Cable would NOT be there unless it had a changer at one time.
(Sorry, I do not know where it goes in a C70)

The C70s came pre-wired for the 6 cd changer from the factory. The cable runs to the trunk near the amp and antenna. There is also a power plug there. That said, I was unable to find a bracket to mount the changer close enough to those factory connections. I ended up extending the power wires and running a separate din cable to the head unit and mounting the changer between the rear deck speakers on my coupe.

Thank you, you were right. Removed the side panel in the boot on the left hand side and both changer cable & power cable were there neatly packed away. Look very closely and this car efinitely never had a changer. All me connected and working now
