2002 XC70 Left Drive Shaft

I got a little heavy handed checking bolt on drive shaft. Sheared the bolt. Has any one had any success with an easy out

Can you pull it out as is? If so then just take a vice grip to it once it is out. You may need to loosen and/or remove a few other components and do some up down lifting of hub to get it out with the added length.

Otherwise I see no reason an easy out would not work. Thinking about it, depending on how deep it broke it is a pretty safe drill. The bolt should not be to tight and should come out easy.
