00 V70R MAF causing fan to stay on?

The same ect across all models from '97.
Being a '97....mine have all sensors and engine management like 1st generation of s,v,c70.

Must be something with different engine management since ect is the same.

A-ha....i just checked....mine is 9186486.This one is up to '99.
'97 850 2.5 20v / fully equipped / Motronic 4.4 from the factory / upgraded with S,V,C,XC70 instrument cluster / polar white wagon

No, up to 98 (in the US).

The first year of the S/V/C70 (98 in the US) has exactly the same sensors as the 850s. Then the 99+ have the electronic throttle body and most of the sensors are different.

S/v/c70 was introduced in '98 in U.S...in Europe in '97.
Like you said...1st year of s/v/c70 ('98)had exactly the same sensors as late 850.If they are '98...so it means UP TO '99.
From '99 and ON they have different sensors and different engine management.

Oh, I see, no worries we are on the same page as far as the facts! To me the phrase "up to" means "as far as" i.e. it means including. Like many idioms it can mean different things to different people/situations. All good.
