1999 c70 Running issue engine stumbles

If your ETS light is on you have to deal with that first. Its a matching ETB, Xmodex, or rebuilding it - choose your poison.

Theres no magical workaround once the ETB goes kaput.

The issue is that open injector again, like prev. mentioned. Sounds like you get a lot of fuel in that cyl., which is not good. Knowing that ecu provides ground for injectors to work, I'd venture that your issue is injector harness touching chassis somewhere, hence open injectors. I'd start at injectors plugs and follow harness all the way to ecu, or use an ohm meter and unplug inj 2 and test either contact of connector to chassis.

Well it has been replaced with a Xmodex one..I'm going to try the ECU connector today and see if it is nasty..Like someone said back in the thread,it's worth a try..I just don't get it that shutting the thing off taking the key out and then restarting it sometimes has an effect and it will straighten out until it acts up again...But thank you for your post...At least I know I'm still being seen.lol

A loose ground will wreck havoc. There has to be a list of the locations somewhere here
