For sale is a '98 C70 coupe. These cars are rare, only about 6300 hardtops were imported to US.
I'll start with the downsides:
The clearcoat is peeling off from hood and driver side of the car.
Head gasket is blown due to thermostat failure in closed position.
Has a salvage title. Nothing major. Been hit on driver side front before I owned it. Been fixed.
The pros:
It is my first and beloved car. I babysitted it for the last 4 years I had it. Fixed tons of big and small stuff on it.
The 5 cylinder turbo drives fast and sounds mean!
Got a lot of quality parts. Interior is in very good condition. Clean. Everything works.
It is very close to stage zero. I kept a maintenance logbook and have all the records in there.

Below are some highlights.
* New thermostat and gasket.
* New coolant temp sensor.
* Complete brake service including dustless Akebono brake pads front and back, rebuilt left front caliper, new steel front brake hoses, brake fluid changed.
* New battery.
* New transmission lower torque rod
* Rebuilt oil lines.
* Drive belt and pulley replaced
* New Bougicord spark plug wires
* New distributor cap and rotor
* New NGK spark plugs
* New fuel filter
* New Radiator
All in all invested more than $6,000 in it. See the attached log.
I was going to take my time and fix it myself but need to move out of the house and will have no place to park the car to fix. I disassembled everything needed for head gasket job, except taking off the timing belt and removing the head. Every bolt/nut/small part has been labeled and stored in zip bags.
