update -

changed out all vacuum hoses, new MAF, cap, rotor, wires are on order - drivability seems better now, but not as good as before, I guess it needs to dry out more. Will put on new fuel filter.
The oil light seems to be coming on when I coast down - I have auto transmission, did research on this, I did the 'cut' on the oil pan on my 240 many years back, I hope its not the same issue here. I will rent oil press gauge or put one on permanently this weekend to monitor that,
