Hey there, looking for a lift kit or other ways of lifting a 98 v70xc. Have any of you done this or could you direct me on where to look. Would I need to have custom spacers made? Maybe 2" spacer? And a 2" body? I would love to get about 4" of lift if possible. Any info is appreciated.

If you're thinking using the V70XC off road, forget it. The AWD system is weak and will break.

You want to off-road? Get a Jeep.

The XC is just a slightly higher V70 AWD
with a different body trim kit. All for
looks - It will never be an all terrain rig.

A P80 AWD is great for handling, traction and
a providing you with a competent road car in
bad weather on PAVED roads, but these cars
were not designed for serious back country duty.

I do snow removal in the winter and usually there's a lot of snow on the roads when I'm driving. utah gets a ton of snow and I thought it would be a cool idea to have a little extra ground clearance but I can do without. It wouldn't be going off-road I have a 2000 tj that's my crawler.

ARD has some info on their FB, they have info on a 2" setup. I know they sell front strut spacers, about $100.
