Noticed the other day that the faux-leather/vinyl on my manual shift-knob is de-laminating badly. I found that the part number is "Volvo 9445851." Here's a pic of mine, for clarification...
Two questions...
1.) Can the shift-knob be replaced with an after-market one? If so, how is it removed?
2.) How are the leather shift and e-brake boots removed? Is this a relatively simple job? I'd like to replace them as well, as you can see in the pic, they too are getting worn.
