1999 V70 DRIVER DOOR PWR WINDOW REGULATOR

Hello folks. Part of my regulator malfunctioned on the pwr window. The arm seems to have slipped pass where it should stop on the forward glass support and the window falls down and then off the track.
My question is do both arms of the regulator slide in the part that is connected to the window to move the window or is the fromt one fixed. Mine is fixed and won't slide. I think that is the problem. Can I fix that or do I need to replace iT? What years fit my 1999 v70, will a sadan fit or does it have to be a wagon? The small things like a driver windor can be so under appreciated.
