1994 volvo 850 turbo wagon - oil change

Just purchased this wagon and I want to do my own oil change. I remember hearing someone say you need to prime the turbo when you change the oil? I don't know what that means. Is that true, or can I just change the oil like I would any car?

You change the oil just like any other car. Use quality filters (Mann, Mahle) and synthetic oil in a turbo if you want to get long life and keep down sludging. You don't need to prime the oil filter either, just start it up, idle and check for leaks for revving up.

You'll only need to prime a turbo if its been removed from the car or if the oil lines to it were removed. None of those things will happen during an oil change (I would hope

).
