'00 S70 Cleared PO455, how long before "Ready"
I found the hose to the EVAP shut-off valve to the gas tank was torn at both ends. That valve was next to the fuel filter, which both sat in front of the charcoal canister. I replaced it today and drove about 80 miles. System still reads "Not Ready" when checked with the code reader. How long does this generally take to be "Ready" ???

You can try the drive cycle but my 1999 has taken 1500 miles to go ready. I've even driven it tonCanada to see if kilometers will help instead of miles.
For purposes of inspection, you can pass with up to and including two monitors " not ready" . Just make sure your inspector knows this by inspecting his/her hands for opposing thumbs

It is normally 100-200 miles. Try this first - sorry for the alarmist post - I think I might have the slowest 'go ready' car in the state..

FIXED! all systems ready
Tested evap purge valve and found it faulty. Got one from the pick 'n pull, along with 2 headlight wiper arms, a coolant level sensor, newish license plate bracket and a couple odds & ends for $15.
I luv the pick 'n pull!
