rspi,

I can't wait to see how your a/c does down here in Texas. The humidity and heat will test it for you.

I've driven for the last seven years without a/c in my 850's, but this year is so hot, I'm going to fix it in the T5-R. If you make it to Houston, let me know.

I've got a pair of new rear brake rotors you can have if they will help you or anyone else.... Meyle 40453065. I can get them to you if you come through Austin.

I'm looking forward to it.

Yesterday I changed my spark plugs, timing belt parts (85,000 on the belt, 33,000 on a AZ water pump, 291,000 on the tensioner, 291,000 on the hydraulic tensioner, and 85,000 on the used INA idler).

Today it will get:
- the turbo replaced, original one starting to smoke 16t going on)
- new 3" down pipe
- replace cat, remove old small used one.
- blue injectors
- replace turbo flange.
- new cabin filter.

May get around a little faster and hopefully with less smoke.

My name is Mike. We spoke on the phone last night. I live just east of downtown Dallas and would appreciate your help diagnosing a hard to start/ no idle condition on my 1998 V70. It would be great if you could manage to take a look at it or we could speak about it in person. The car has been languishing for a while mostly because of my work schedule but I am "off season" right now and have availability for the next couple of weeks.
I'd also like to offer my help if you need an extra set of hands on anything.

Hello Robert,
My name is Simon. I live in garland which is 30 mins away from downtown dallas. My 850 has some problems with the suspension. I think. For sure i do know that the spring seat is bad. I don't know whether my inner and outer rods are bad and the links and control arms. The car is at 180K. I'm the 3rd owner. I havent bought parts yet. Would love to talk to you!

Hey, maybe I can sit in on that meeting too. My '99 S70 has enough creaks in the front end to be a sailing ship. Not sure exactly where from either.

Schedule update... Since I have all the parts needed to complete my donor car, I am finishing that up and should leave here to deliver that this Friday the 28th. I will return here to pick up my vehicle and head into Texas on the following Wednesday, the 2nd. So, I should be in Dallas TX that night. Woohoo! (or is that YeeHi!)
