If a lug nut got stripped when a mechanic was putting on the wheel, what else needs to be replaced? I assume that the receiving end also got stripped.
Thank you

What is stripped? The hex or the threads?
Note that they have lug BOLTS, not nuts. The hub is threaded M12x1.75

If the threads in the hub are stripped, then yes, the hub would need to be replaced. Your mechanic is a Gorilla!
