96 850 assembling tutorial: questions about pics

I have about 50 pictures that people might find useful in this engine rebuilding tutorial. How should I size them dimensionally? I assume density should be 72 ppi?

How large can I make the incoming file? Including text, it will probably be upwards of 100 mb.

Should I send it to Matt for preview?
