2008 s40 how to remove the lower rear door trim molding

Post by dwbentz »

I see posts about a t-15 but when I look in the two holes at the base of the door, all I see is a blue clip.

It looks like it may be this clip part number 31253723.

Any suggestions?

For my 2006 V50, I had snagged the lower door trim on something and had to take it off for attention. The ends of the strip were held on with torx screws (#7 in the drawing http://www.volvopartswebstore.com/showA ... ly=1181882) and the center was held by clips. The torx screws were visible on the inside of the door edge seam.
