Hey, have a problem that has become more intermittend than before, last year this code came up a2-2-2. Once month or 2 months between. This summer i comes up pretty much all the time. Is there anyway to get a new solenoid from volvo dealer?
Should i replace solenoid or gearbox aswell?
To mention, if i clear the code i can drive it normally. or turn key on off 5 times.

You can get the solenoid through a dealer or through FCP. FCP has them a fuzz cheaper. If the only problem is the shift solenoid then just change that. Although getting the pan off is a bear it is MUCH, MUCH, less of a bear than changing the transmission. Once the pan is off the solenoids are right there.

Thanks, well i think the gearbox is allright since the oil is still "redish" , not black or something like that.
I would gladely purchase from fcp but way to expensive incl shipping. live in sweden.
