1994 850 M Steering Difficult

1994 850 M Steering Difficult

My steering has been getting more difficult in the past month. Last night I dropped in a new steering pump and it made an improvement, but it's still not where it should be. I also prayed some WD 40 on the steering knuckle. When I inspected the knuckle I saw a bit of rust on it. I am guessing that is the weak link in the system and it looks like a complete PIA to change out. Any suggestions?

You can disconnect the tie rods and see if the steering effort changes dramatically. It's either rack, tie rids, or ball joints
