Hi I'm Matthew from the Midlands UK
I've got a Volvo 850 t5 saloon manual 1996
My dad has a Volvo 240 (torslanda) estate 1993
My dads Volvo 240 or Torslanda has been running rough the last few weeks.
It came up with various codes on the led on board test box.
Most relating to the Maf sensor, this was changed for a new one, then another when the problems continued.
I believe it to be the lhm 2.4 system
Now the only code we have left is 322 in relation to the burnoff wire.
I have read various things on this forum and has been a great help.
We have sorted the flap in the air box that sticks.
Tested the fuel pump relay, as per instructions. Working perfectly.
Cleaned and replaced probalatic fuses in the fuse box.
Tested the burn off signal at the maf sensor as instructed. But this only gives a 0.30 volt for a second (shouldn't this be a bit more) tested using a power probe.
Now we are stuck to what to test or try next.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Matt
1993 Volvo Torslanda 240 fault code 322
Hi we have solved the issue relating to fault code 322.
Changed the fuel relay as it seemed that was the issue.
Still code came back. Went to local scrap yard and found a Bosch maf sensor.
Tried this on for the last few weeks and no codes.
So when buying new maf sensors be careful to make sure that they actually are working correctly.
Thanks Matt

Bosch had at least one updated MAF (AMM).Boycey wrote:Bosch maf sensor
I've seen a new AMM from China work fine.
If a vehicle is not near OEM specs (fuel pressure, spark plugs, wires, etc), any new/used AMM may appear to have an issue. LH 2.4 is an adaptive system, within certain parameters, so when an used/new one is installed, disconnect the battery, install it, reconnect battery and then drive it around for a hour.
