It's either a project or a parts car, If you don't want either, keep looking. Were you looking, or was this an "accidental find"?
Current Volvos:
1998 V70 T5, 112k sat 5 years, still in mechanical coma (finally at the top of the pile )
2004 XC90 T6 AWD: 186k, 60 on transaxle ( traded in )
1998 POS70 N/A: DD/training aid, 236k but really about 240k, I think...ABS module( passed on to son who sold it)

It was an accidental find from Craigslist. We have 8 Vols in the family and my wife's Passant with 270K. We are looking to replace the Passant. I've been looking for a black on black 2000 V70 XC with 120 to 140k. After 14 years of Passat maintance I really want something easier to work on. Of course she wants a 2010 XC70 she test drove last week. I will probably say yes dear, take the dog for a walk and hope some one else pulls the trigger on the 2010.
