Don't put gas into the cylinders yet. Pull all five plugs , put them in a line and let's take a picture.

Put a full charge into that battery..two days on the charger.

Put a teaspoon of engine oil into each spark plug hole with the plug removed...use a straw to drop it into the cylinder, then replace the plugs and try the start.

Will do!! Hey I called the dealership yesterday just to see if there were any recalls...which there weren't and he said that I should unplug both battery cables and electrical tape them together for a half hour then reconnect...this will factory reset the car? I've got the cables together now will work on car later tonight. I also got my camshaft in mail today. If I can find where it goes it looks pretty easy to change? Some of the nuts and bolts on the caps of the spark plugs someone tightened too tight! I am hoping the battery reset thing will work. I just discovered that the emergency brake cable is broken too and it's like the brakes are locked up. My husband said the cable broke and he is going to have to get a new one. Any advice on that?

That will reset any error codes which should turn off the Check Engine light (CEL)

Do you have a code reader? You should get a cheapie (20 USD) if you are keeping the car.

Camshaft replacement? Thats a little ....er....gutsy to try at this point. Can you post a picture of your camshaft? We often call parts by incorrect names here on MVS, so we might need to translate..

These are deep engine parts which you only replace during a complete engine- out- of- the-car overhaul.

No codes and no ETS light on is a really, really good sign.

Lets see a picture of your plugs. That sounds really NSFW. Your spark plugs.

The things in the engine.
