2003 V70 FWD Fuel Filter - Where is it?

Spent some time at my local Volvo dealer today. There is no external filter for this car, with the emissions package that it has. If there is a filter it is part of the fuel pump assembly and does not appear to be independantly replaceable.

Yes, same dealer. I asked why they sold my wife the filter in the first place. She had even given them the VIN #. They said that they only used the last part of the VIN # to look up the filter. They should have used the whole # so they could have seen what emisisons package it had and that would have told them that there is no filter. If they had only taken the time to do it right from the start it would have saved me lots of time.
