I just had to tow my Black 1998 v70 to the salvage yard because of a blown engine. Otherwise the car was in decent shape. Anybody need parts off it you can contact the Remsburgs Service Center in Mcconnelsburg PA.

The answer to the interchange is yes for all parts (intercooler, A/C condenser, fan and radiator) with the proviso, that both cars are automatics and have engine oil coolers. Then all the parts fit except the radiator.

The black wagon looks like it has the oil cooler for the engine, can't tell if it auto or manual.

It is an automatic. How do you tell if there is an oil cooler?

Just discovered the VIN on the dash is different from the one on the window sticker. I'm going to have to double check the door sticker.

All turbo models (such as a 98 GLT) have an oil cooler in the radiator.

The VIN is also stamped on the firewall. The '99 and '00 versions of the turbo have a different radiator and the engine oil cooler was moved from the radiator to the back of the block. On a '98 turbo with an automatic there are a total of four ports on the radiator tanks, a pair on each side of the radiator.

Yes, I am answering for 98 and earlier. The radiator for 99-00 is incompatible for other reasons (different attachment ports for the trans cooler lines).

For a '98 you can use 850 turbo parts, all the same. You just need to make sure you have a '98. From the peek at the intake manifold it is indeed a '98 but the VIN should verify that.

As far as I know, it is a '98. The dealer window sticker says so, the VIN (which I think is correct) says it is, I have the three mode transmission, and I have a mechanical throttle (under a broken cover).

The radiator from my '98 will work on your GLT according the Euro parts listing. All my stuff will fit yours.

The MAF will also work and it is almost new.
