00 V70R Rear Suspension

Rear driver nivomat is blown to bits, so now I must decide on what option to upgrade with. I'm a lil shocked that tasca has cheaper parts then fcpeuro.com

Option 1 Euro Nivomats
Stock R Coils w/ euro nivomats part 8626025. Lower ride height, former dampening and more controlled body movements $489.44
Tascaparts.com

Option 2 Delete Nivomats
Retro rear with the S70 AWD Coils and shocks $266.90
Coil part 9203935
Shock part 9292049

Update on rear suspension rebuild. I ended getting the euro 025 Nivomats from tascaparts for 529 USD shipped to NYC. Installed them today and drove around to break em in a bit. I measured the driver & passenger side they are about a inch 1 off from each other. The passenger rear is about 14 n half and driver 15 n half. I guess when the pass nivo blew, it took the coil with it. Guess I gotta change the coils now. Anybody have any AWD lowering coils for P80 ?

Interesting. So Euro nivos are different to North American? I have Nivos with the GREEN stripe on them not the purple/red and different part # (8626027). Were you originals the same as you replaced as the look the same overall length when placed beside each other.

Obvious point, but you did check the springs are fully seated in the rubber seat and top seat so that the fit in the grooves correctly?

If you replace them with standard shocks I think you also need to change the upper mounts.
