1996 850R Air Damper Motors

Hi,

I purchased 3 damper motors for the ECC off of eBay. They came from a pick and pull. Does anyone know if there is a marking indicating what year they are? If so, where is it located?

Not sure if the same motors are used in other later year models.

There is probably a plastic casting with month and year pressed into the part.
The Volvo part number will tell you all you need to know about compatibility though

The part # from 93 -98 are the same for sure as I used a spare from a 96 850 for each car (93 and 98). PArt numbers were different, but part was the same. The 98-00 had one with a different drive connector for the motor beside the steering wheel although the rest of the unit was the same.
