99 s70 base had a accident

My gf accidentally had accelerator held down while starting her s70 it made a loud roar till she realize what was happenig could we expect any damage from this unfornate event. I thought the etm or a failsafe would have kicked in.

If the car is functioning normally now, it should not be a problem--just would not make a practice of this.
