Nope...if you don't have obdII port under coin holder your chasis is older than '95.Like i said before...'95 have them BOTH.From '96,there is no more obdI diagnostic port under the hood.
This is the location of obdII port:

No problem...whole Italy drives their car on Lpg or Cpg.There are sequent injection kits with separate ecu which can be installed in EVERY car in this world.Even in V12 engines.
Power remains the same, fuel consumption is arould 1l more on LPG,but the key is that LPG is double cheaper than Gasoline.Installation prices varies but they come from around 300eur for 4cyl engine,500-600 for 5 or 6 cyl, etc.LPG installation pays off after a year. You can always choose on which fuel you want to drive the car.

The 10 valve variants were late in getting OBDII. The engine management system for the 10 valve was Siemens and they all used the LED light under the engine area.

You have no OBDIi diagnostic port and the LED system was never designed to run with your own (non standard) engine management system.

If you remove the ECU box cover in the engine bay near the coolant overflow bottle and see there is no SIEMENS ECU you won't be able to connect.

This one "used" Fenix 5.2 for Canadian market ONLY.

I translated Vin he sent me.

Now...it have 2.0 T5R engine for Italian Market ONLY and Motronic 4.3 ecu(since there is only one in that ecu box).

Not that number...the other one(the main one).For example 0 261 xxx xxx.

It would be the best to take a picture of ecu marks, but there can't be anything else than Motronic 4.3 inside that ecu box.

Just to clarify everything as far as what year your chassis is, everything you should need to know from your VIN can be found here... http://new.volvocars.com/ownersdocs/199 ... n1996.html
If your VIN does not have an "S" or "T" in the "year" position, you do not have an OBD2 car.

It has T (96)

But we found that it was 2.5 10v for Canada but now its 2.0t for italian market....and now because obds are not interchangeabel between thos two engines, i do not have any obd....

But what about my ECU ? What are those numbers? Is it ok?
