2003 s80 will not start think ecu is dead

Hey guys thanks for allowing me to join . My wife has a 2003 volvo s80 has been a great car . She drove it to work friday and when she went to leave it wouldnt start . we had it towed home and i hooked my scan tool up no codes showing . a friend that runs a garage brought his high dollar tool over and said his tool only showed one ecm and in parenthesis it said transmission so he said my ecu wasnt talking at all. I have checked every fuse except for the 6 60amp ones under the fuse box in the hood compartment. According to AllData pins number a70 and b11 are the power wires for the ecu in the connector. can anyone confirm or deny this. Also with this being a 2003 if i purchase an ecm from advance auto will it have to be programmed to work in my car? i am wanting to verify power to it before i buy one. Thanks in advance for any help.
