1996 855R ABS question

my ABS module went wonky (no speedo/idiot lights on). I pulled a unit off of a 2000 V70 today at a local boneyard. The cover on the donor module says ABS/TRACS. Will the V70 module work satisfactorily in my 1996 855? Any help is appreciated. Thanks...
