Hello buddy,
I have a very similar problem with my car. There are times when I put the indicator on and it doesn't work. Then it double clicks faster than normal then cuts off again. I think I know how to fix this.
Pretty much what you gotta do is dismantle the indicator assembly and clean out all the grease. Then reassemble it with some new electric contact grease. You can get some from autozone or homedepot.
What has happened is over time the wear of the metal parts have mixed into the grease making the grease conductive. The current will travel places its not supossed to which results in making the indicator stay on or intermittently work.
Try this and post back.
Your suffering electrical problems just like me but a little different.
If this doesn't work, look for a relay if there is one. Replace it as it may be jammed. This should do it. I will try this too and post back.
