Good day to all. I have a 00 S80 that the AC clutch will not engage. I've owned the car about a year and it has never worked. This weekend, I put a new clutch kit on and made the gap as tight as possible without rubbing the pulley so it should be within spec. I checked the fuses under the hood and in the drivers side (left side) fuse panel and all are good. I swapped relays with the one next to the AC relay (same part number)...pulled the AC relay, car still ran, pulled the other relay, car stalled (don't have socket number handy) but started when I put both relays back in, indicating both relays are good. I connected my DiCE and through VIDA, I cannot seem to turn the compressor on (could be lack of VIDA knowledge there). I see no codes in VIDA.
The only other thing I found so far is the CCM might need programmed, which doublebug mentioned when he cloned my ECU. Is there anything else I can check or do? Could the. CCM be the culprit?
Oh...I also sprung a leak at the compressor so I replaced it, new seals, vacuum (which surprisingly held for 20+ mins) and put in about 20oz of freon and 6oz oil (from my research, it needs 35, but won't take any more due to lack of clutch engagement). ANY help or insight would be greatly appreciated.
