Hello,

A few weeks ago my Light Failure indicator came on. After checking, it looked like the parking light filament in the signal bulb had gone on the driver side (this was the only light that didn't come on), the signal still worked, but the parking light (or running lights) didn't come on. I replaced the bulb, but the parking light still didn't work and the warning light remained on. I then replace the entire driver side signal, but still no luck, same issue. All the other lights work and the turn signal works, just not the parking light. Any ideas what to try next?

Thanks for the help,

N

That light is tied into some stuff in the rear hatch. The wire bundle going to the hatch get stretched over time and break.

Thanks! But wouldn't that mean the signal wouldn't work either? The running light and signal light are in the same bulb.

They are in the same bulb but there are two circuits to the bulb and there are two filaments inside of the bulb. It is the same as having two bulbs electrically.

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I didn't get a chance to update this right away. Thank you Lee that is exactly what the issue was.
