I saw this in a for sale ad. I will not buy the car, but I was curious if people had thoughts on it:
"This car has an electrical or computer issue that causes it to stall when you press the brake pedal for the first five minutes of drive or until it warms up once it warms up it runs and drives just fine."

My first guess would be a sizable vacuum leak in the brake booster. When the engine is cold and normally wants an enriched fuel mixture, it can't tolerate the additional air introduced by the vacuum leak. Once it's warmed up, it can handle the additional air.
My second guess would be the auxiliary vacuum pump isn't working (if 2001's had that pump).

When I bought mine the rpm was dropping at about 500rpm when coming to a stop. Went to clean the throttle body and the MAF wire and it went away. Not sure which one was the fix though.
If his rpm is also dropping a lot, the engine might stall.
