volvo v70 2001 emissions system service required
Hi every one, not sure if I have posted in the correct forums, I have a 2001 Volvo v70 with a engine management light on, I have run Vida and it tells my maf sensor is faulty, replaced with a oe part, it still tels me my maf is faulty, but there you go should of bought genuine Volvo but so pricey, re set with Vida, and read up some more and my symptom's seemed similar to a faulty lambda sensor, so I bought a aftermarket part and replaced, well total lack of power and a stuttering car followed... I remove the new sensor and put in my old one and like magic the car droves fine, I have ordered a new genuine Volvo lambda, my question.. Is it possible for a defective lambda sensor (aftermarket brand new) to make me lose power and stutter on acceleration?

A vacuum leak will often give a " bad MAF " code. The OBD systems usually don't tell you what part is wrong , they give you guidance as to what system to evaluate, in this case, air induction.
Aftermarket parts on these cars can definitely give you headaches, especially MAFs
