First of, I'd like to say hi to everyone.
Now, over to my problem, that I hope can be solved.
I recently purchased an 1999 Volvo V40 1.9D that cam with a few problems to fix.
My biggest problem at the moment is that I can't get the turn signals to work.
When ever I use the indicator handle, there is no "clicking" sound, no signals in the dashboard, no lights flashing outside.
When I use the Hazard light button, all lights are working fine.
What I have done so far:
Changed the handle/lever.
Checked that everything is working with the new handle; Cruise Control, High/Low beam, but turn signals is not working.
Replaced the relay for the indicators, but still nothing works.
Replaced fuse no. 7 under the stearing ( according to Haynes manual, this is the only fuse I can find ).
Someone told me to check the "loom under the radiator chaffing", but I'm sorry to say that I don't know what this is or mean, as English is not my native language.
I am uncertain of what to do or check next to make it work.
Please advice
Best regards,
