It's very encouraging to see all of these 850s and 70s rolling that far... mine's at 143k-ish right now, and that's considered quite a lot around here. Prices take a dive at about 145k for any car here, and knowing that I probably have another relatively worry free 100k in the car, is great. :)

I just signed up on the Volvo Heritage site. Says I'll get my Heritage Medallion in 4-6 weeks...
Anyway, mine's at 169,681 as it sits... which is what it'll be doing until I get this transmission situation sorted out.

I have 212K, 1998 V70xc . Great to know about the badge. Volvo did seem to stop giving them out in the usa. I am going to sigh up for the 200k, I have 100k badge (which I got at 189K).

Just 218K on my 95 turbo wagon and running sweet and fast. I fully expect to own it at 300k. It's too fun to drive (especially when shocking rice rockets when leaving a stop light). I hadn't heard of the badges before though and now I want one. :-)

Congrats on the mileage. The Volvo does like to run up the miles. My '98 did 331,000 before it took a rest. My, new to me, '99 V70 is at 180,000, purchased it at 163,000. Hope for many miles to come.

How weird is that that we both turned 200000 on the same day. The Volvo gods were looking out for us!

Just punched 200,000 K today. It is amazing how these cars age so gracefully. My first new car was in 1976 a Ford Capri V6 that lasted 70,000 miles and four years. Car was literally falling apart, leaking at every fluid orafice and banging at every bump.

BTW, I have 172K and runs fine, zero oil leaks b/c I took care of all issues (rebuilt trans cooler lines, new O-rings at oil tstat, all hoses either new or rebuilt etc.).

These cars are like tanks if one takes good care of it, if not taken care of ---> junk yard is awaiting them LOL...

Just curious who holds the records here? Does anyone have 400K here...

My 850T crossed 212K this week, and I plan and running her a whole lot longer. I am glad there are some people taking care of them. It seems that there are a whole lot less of all the pre-Ford models on the road now.
