I'm gearing up for a timing belt change on my '97 855 at ~180k miles... getting tools, instructions, torque specs, materials and especially parts ready to go. This is going to be my second timing belt job and I decided to go with OE parts sourced from a reputable parts supplier (not a dealer). My question is, can you tell by looking at the tensioner pulley and other parts if they are genuine or counterfeit? They all look genuine to me, but I'm no expert. If you could take a look and let me know what you think, I'd appreciate it.
Overview of parts purchased:
Aisin tensioner, with AISIN in casting on this side and a white ink AISIN stamp on the other side
Thanks for your advice!

I know this sounds odd but the Volvo OEM parts are cheaper at Volvo dealer website. Also you don't have to worry about counterfeit.

Thanks for the advice. I bought these parts using one of the MVS sponsor links above. The sponsor was having a sale and included free shipping so it was a good deal.
The other items I'm looking for now are loctite for some of the pulley bolts and water pump RTV to hold the gasket in place during water pump installation.

No need for RTV on the gasket. The pins on the head will hold the gasket in place. I've never used loc-tite on the pulley bolts...heck, I always put anti-seize compound on the and they have never loosened, and when time for the next belt comes around, you'll be a happy man.
The water pumps 7 bolts should have some thread sealant on them
Get a good quality T-40 (?) L wrench to get the tensioner pulley off, it can be on there VERY tight. You DO NOT want to strip the inside of the torx screw. I have this particular set,
