2000 V70 Question about a clear tube

So my car was recently in an accident and the post between the windshield and where the door closes was opened up with what looks like a can opener. Inside this hollow space was a clear tube , which i believe to be some sort of drain tube perhaps coming from the sunroof area. Is there something else this could be. It was also ripped out, so if this is a drain tube I will have to replace it, so water does run into the car and cause more damage. Any ideas about what it might are greatly appreciated.

That is indeed what the tube is for, the sunroof drain. If it is not dealt with and the car is left out rain water will collect on the floorboards.

FWIW - There are four sunroof drains - One at each corner.
