ok stupid question time where is the tubing for the headlight washers? i had the bumper on my 2001 v70xc off and don't see anything there are squirters on the arms but no plumbing

Great post but unnecessary to remove bumper cover to replace windshield washer pump only. My late 2005 XC70 model has a removable splash shield directly under the washer reservoir which allows direct access to only the windshield pump. If replacing the headlight washer pump, then yes..,you must R&R the bumper cover. I'll post pictures later to further clarify.

Just wanted to say thanks for posting this thread! It was very helpful for replacing my windshield washer pump. Of course it had to die in the winter but at least we had a bit of a break from the weather up here in New England.

Keeping my old 05 XC70 running for my daughter in college is MUCH easier with all the help on here! Cheers all.
