1987 240 DL Shifter problem
My son's 87 240 DL will no longer go into reverse. The lift mechanism on the shifter no longer lifts the nylon piece so that he can engage reverse. It looks like that if I can get the shift knob off I can take it apart but I need a little guidance. Can it be fixed if I take the knob off and if so, how do I get the shifter knob off?
